    An idea?

Discussion in 'Entertainment' started by PenTrotter, Jan 27, 2013.

For all you gamers out there, how would you feel about this game?

    Genre: Adventure RPG
    Style: Advanced 2D (looks good)
    Platform: Flash

Just one catch. The game has no PRESSING GOAL, just all alternative questlines. Like skyrim minus DragonBorn. Would you play it?

Probably not... Not unless there was more of a hook than that...

There's already a ton of Adventure RPG games done on flash like that. There would need to be something to make it stand out from the crowd, like an awesome story, or an interesting hook like terraria, which is pretty much minecrat but 2d.

for something so open ended it would need an 'Elite' factor, a compelling reason to play beyond a goal driven environment, Elite does that with its free form style and no set target (apart from the top combat rank of elite but even then the game isn't over) but you still have to have some form of progression in the game or it would feel like a waste of time

There is skills, a leveling system, and many many ALTERNATIVE STORYLINES. There is a driving factor, and a story, but you're just not FORCED right into a main campaign like most games. The specs of sorts dont actually describe the game, I just wanted some feedback on the concept itself.
