    Off the Shelf Books

Discussion in 'Publisher Discussion' started by Thom, Nov 13, 2011.

So, I was looking for titles to buy for my NookColor, and I came across this while buying a 'Galaxy Unknown.'
    http://offthebookshelf.com/

Then I noticed it has a publishing and distribution feature, which puts it on Amazon, among other sites for sale.

I'm just wondering what anyone thinks of this, and if it would be worth it.

If anything, I'd post stories on it that I wouldn't think would be mass effective, as in a selective market.
Or as a last alternative for those stories that are not nibbled on by the big publisher.

It might be worth your time to try and get your name out there. However, I would try getting yourself published in magazines and the like before you go that route.
