A further update: in my latest attempt, I got the "submit new thread" button, and when I clicked on it, I did not receive, as described above, the message saying I lacked posting privileges. Instead I got a standard title and content field, and proceeded to fill in both. Then, when I clicked the Submit button, I received the message: "You do not have posting privileges." Can someone help out, please?
I'm experiencing the same issue as a few other before me, with the site informing me that I lack posting privileges. As far as I'm aware I've fulfilled the necessary criteria although feel free to point out if I have misinterpreted what is needed.
Have you done your two critiques? Sometimes it takes a few days for that to update, and if it doesn't then contact an administrator. It's that easy!
