When did I ever mention the feudal system? I didn't. Just because I say Kings & Queens does not equal the feudal system. And anyway, kings and queens do pick who is the next in line unless you're in medieval Europe so it doesn't always have to be by birthright. And anywho, no one gets elected because of talent. They get elected because they are popular enough with the people.
Your right to express those views or act on those views could certainly be up for grabs if the wrong person were 'in charge'. And we don't need a revolution - as I mentioned before, those ignorant commoners have done quite well in getting people the rights they're entitled to, along with those they elected. At any rate, my main issue is your statement about being a liberal. Your main views belie that statement. But this also isn't a political debate thread (I hate those).
