Why does a thread about your favourite beer have to go down this road.....

If you hate beer and its possible actions then just get the f**k off this thread. No offence

Anyway. I find beer is a drink you really need expierence with. its odd. But even though i don't drink it much anymore, do find it much more pleaseing then the first beer i ever had. My tastebuds are more into it now though.

Any of you brewed your own beer?

Speedy, check out Dales Pale Ale. Damn good for canned brew. Perfect for river drinking.

There is a bottle shop that pretty much has every decent beer the world releases. Maybe i should just by a four pack and try one out every week.

    Open the horizon

    Dales Pale ale.

Week One - Dales Pale Ale. Done!

Only amatures drink cold beer. It kills the flavor and aroma.

    ha, well i never said i was a pro ( i said i was a wine drinker)

Living over here when its hot.............okay no excuses.

I'll just have to try it from a can and find out myself. (Australa makes the worst beer for canned drinking, so im justed used to having to a cold one).

Don't drink a whole lot these days, but I still have a fondness for quality Aussie beer - Coopers. (Pale Ale and Lager is preferred, but they also do a decent Stout).

I think I got those stats off the news, and from people I know... who are only around my age, which is probably why they can't stomach much.
No, I haven't been drunk, but I've witnessed it's effects first hand many times. And, quite frankly, I don't want that to be me.

Anyway, glad you got a laugh :D. I never meant to start an argument, I'll get off this thread now.

No Aussies drink fosters. Purely a marketing tool for the brits, who seem to love the stuff

All good. I don't have a problem at all with you not wanting to get drunk. I respect your decision whole heartedly. Purely was interested in your motives. :)

Coopers is the bomb! The stout is quite good

*On topic* Beer is awesome. I drink it most weekends and it tastes brilliant.

*Off topic* Umm about 4 years ago when I was 19. I used to live in london and went travelling. I either stayed there for a night or was just passing through. I defintiely remember being there though!

    *On Topic* I wouldn't know, I don't drink.

*Off Topic* It's a pretty boring place. The only reason I love living here is the RSC, so I can't wait to leave. :D

Guinness. But it has to be purchased and drunk in Ireland as it DOES NOT TRAVEL. It's the real thing here and most people can taste the difference.

I'd seen hat on Oz and James' Drink To Britain. They went to Ireland to try guiness over there and loved it!
