Here I am. Crick, that is. You'll catch me browsing around and adding my two sense in here and there. I prefer speculative fiction. I have a soft spot in my heart for pulp. I enjoy writing dialogue and appreciate humor, especially satire, parody and puns. I have come across some of the best writing advice in my life from authors whose books I do not read or even necessarily enjoy. It just goes to show you that wisdom is not beholden to our personal taste. So there you have it. As detailed an introduction as I dare. Catch you around.
Thanks for the welcome, folks. I'm a slow starter when it comes to becoming active in a forum but you're bound to see me around. Y'all seem like just a good gaggle of folks. I like puns.^ It was pretty subtle. And not necessarily humorous. At least not to most people, I would imagine. So, easy to miss. I'm also a fan of idioms, proverbs, and old superstitions and their origins. I may also be a fan of commas as I tend to put them everywhere except where they're supposed to go. Just call me a rebel, huh?
