    Playwriting thread/forum

Discussion in 'Support & Feedback' started by Yobuba, Dec 15, 2009.

    Hi,

I have been on this website for a while, and have recently had the urge to try and write plays. However, I noticed that there was nowhere on this site I could post my play within its rules  Am I just being totally blind, or is there actually nowhere you can post play scripts and the like?

I suppose I could describe my plot and ideas to the members of this forum, but it would be best to gain constructive criticism that actually dissects my play dialogue.

    Thanks

It probably fits best in Scripts and Screenplays.

There is no rule saying youe writing must fit exactly in a partticular category. But it's to your advantage to post in the "best fit" forum.

since the writing for a play is a 'script' that's exactly where it fits... ;-)

btw, i mentor aspiring playwrights, among other writing breeds, and though it's not very heavily trafficked, at least i check that section daily... so i'll be glad to give your work a look...

    love and hugs, maia
