    best selling charts and numbers

Discussion in 'The Lounge' started by erebh, Mar 29, 2013.

does anyone know a link to the best selling charts with the numbers of sales for each? Even an annual chart with sales numbers?

It's going to be very hard to find actual numbers. Publishers don't release this sort of information.

I hoped some of the published authors here might at least know how many sales you need to hit to make the top 10 in a major chart

It seems the book industry can give North Korea or the KGB some tips on secrecy...

I thought Amazon posted those numbers. Let me look and get back to you.

No, they just list where your book is on the sales chart so my friend's book now ranks, #352,215 Paid in Kindle Store.

    This is interesting,
Not exactly what you're looking for but the graph has some related data. It explains why there are so many really bad books in print. :p

Kindle is outselling print on Amazon

There are lots of graphs that show millions of dollars in sales but not numbers of books.

This one was something other people often ask: # words vs sales graph.
