So because my last post didn't get any replies, I'm gonna post again, explaining the book, to try and convince you guys to pick up this book(s). The book is the tale of Severian, an apprentice to the guild of torturers, He lives in the Citadel with in the city Nessus on the dying planet of Urth. One day a woman of high class is taken in as a client, because she has some influence, she asks that Severian bring her meals and read and talk. He ends up falling in love with her. after she is finally tortured, Severian smuggles her a knife so she can kill herself. He is exiled out into the commonwealth to Thrax, the city of windowless rooms. Severian is the narrarator, and he claims to have an eidetic memory. the book is filled with a bunch cryptic allegories and paradoxes. Its actually four books that tell one story. please, someone read this book, its great want to hear other peoples interpretations of the book.
