    Can someone help me?

Discussion in 'Traditional Publishing' started by MidnightPhoenix, Aug 23, 2011.

Okay, so I finally fished my first book and is ready to go to a published and I was looking at one, but I am not sure what they mean by it, because I'm stupid!

"For submissions, please send the query and the first 5-10 pages. Email queries with the pages pasted in the body of the email are preferred."

Does it mean : after the query letter underneath it place the first 5-10 pages.

If anyone can help me, I much appreciated it; thanks.

The way I understood it, they want you to write the query as an e-mail and paste the pages under it, in the same mail.

This should be moved to the 'Publishers' section.

Thanks, I thought it might be that but I didn't want to take the risk just in case. Thank you:)

    Quick word of advice.

Format your email in a txt file, not word. It saves the formatting being destroyed.
