    I've been BANNED!!!!

Discussion in 'The Lounge' started by Torana, Jun 6, 2008.

    From the kitchen! :(

I was asked if I wanted any cheesecake. Of course I wanted some. Stupid question mom! Sheesh!

So I goes in the kitchen and told mom I'd cut it while she got the bowls. hehehe! When she came back I had cut it in half.

"You aren't going to take half of it are you?" she says with a stern voice.

"Course not mom." I said in a cheeky tone. hehehe

I then cut off a small corner and went for the bowl. Mom was watching me closely. Then I cut off a small corner off half the cheesecake and mom smiled, she was happy with that. But her smile soon turned to a frown as she reached for the wooden spoon and chased me from the kitchen telling me I was banned from the kitchen for the rest of the night! Sheesh! A little bit of an over reaction I think! :D

I took the bigger half of the half and left the small corner there... hehehehehe! :p

Has anyone else ever been caught and told off for having a snack they weren't meant to, or a bigger serve then they were allowed? Any funny stories? Do share lol

Oops! Hope you're allowed back in the kitchen soon. ;)

Once, I held a sleepover at my house with a few of my cousins. My mam and dad were downstairs watching TV in the living-room with both the doors closed (one of the living-room doors leads off into the hall and the other directly into the kitchen). So my cousin Kelsea's like, 'Shall we go get some snacks?'
So all twelve of us creep downstairs to kitchen and start putting bags of crisps and welshcakes and chocolate eclairs into a polythene bag. Then the door opens and my dad walks into the kitchen, and we all start screaming and running to hide. And my dad's just watching us as if we're stupid. It was pretty obvious that he could see us, but we're all running around like headless chickens and sending various bits of food flying across the kitchen. So my dad marched up all up to bed and locked the door. My sister had hidden cakes and stuff down her top, and my younger cousin has a chocolate eclair in her bra, but no one wanted those. Lol!

P.S. Sorry about the POV switches. lol

I remember me and my cousin were sleeping over at my grandma's house once, and we snuck upstairs at about 3:00am to grab some snacks. Well, while we were grabbing potato chips and cookies, my cousins belt on his pants got hooked on the stove, and slammed the stove door shut! It was so loud! We ran back downstairs so fast that food was flying everywhere. lol!

They'll let you back in the kitchen - the moment something needs to be scrubbed, or scraped, or mopped up.

I'm a want to be fat kid (The army won't let me get to big) and my stepdad hates that when ever I'm home and there cooking something i walk right into the kitchen and start sniffing around everything asking how much longer till dinnerwave. I've been banned form the kitchen more than once but never for snaking. My mom always thought a good apetite was a good thing, that and the only thing to snake on was yesterdays leftovers, which tasted pretty good after being thrown in the micro

Hold it! I read that Rumpole...or do you know someone named Tori?

Anyway, mom gets mad at me when I have too much mac-and-cheese 'cause it's my favorite...and I'm just a weee bit lactose-intolerant.

I am an easy one to fool. Like that one time I was told "You have to be this tall to ride the roller coaster," and I was taller than it, but he said it so monotone, I had to turn back and look again. I felt like an idiot.

When I was a kid there were not snacks in the house.
you ate supper and that was it until morning.
My father offered us his late night snack but no way.
It was onion crackers and limburger cheese.
I thought that was what adults had as snacks.

my own boys and family usually have chips or popcorn
    for snacks after supper.
I didn't bother with desserts too often until Raymond
came home from kindergarten and asked me what desserts were.
It was asked what they had for dessert at home and he said chips.
The teacher said that wasn't a dessert it was a snack.
So for the next few weeks we had proper desserts just to show him
    what they were.
To this day desserts are rare but chips are still a main stay in the diet.

awwww that is so sweet lessa.

My little angels have realised that if the sneek down to the kitchen they can quietly open the cupboard and sneek into their room with packets of chips. I hear them each time. But it is just sooooooooooo cute :p lol

some things it is cute to ignore.
kids need to be able to be sneaky about little things
so they don't end up being sneaky about really important
    bad things.
it is all a part of growing up.
