Discussion in 'The Lounge' started by James Berkley, Apr 25, 2012.

So its 0430 local time and I can’t sleep again. Who else is up at strange hours?

I certainly have strange hours. I sleep when I get tired enough.

    What's so strange about 0430?

It seems I'm only ever creative after midnight (or right after I've laid down for the night), so I get ya. There's something eerily beautiful about being up when the rest of the world is asleep...

    There are certainly less distractions.

It appears that we're forming a little club here. It's just after midnight for me, and I'm still making coffee and getting my second wind.

Zombies don't rule the night, it's frustrated writers...

Frustrated writers and crickets, unless it's too damn cold, then it's a cracking fire.

I got a terrible vision of the mod squad. Me as the chisel-featured, brooding outlaw, shaylyn as the tough as nails seductive female mercenary, and you 'Psycho as the Xavier embodiment stuggling to keep us from destroying a saloon.

By morning, we have five new chapters and a movie deal...

I'm seeing spike-high-heeled shoes, blood-crimson lipstick, raven black hair with a widows' peak, and enough cleavage to make most teenage boys lose their place in the algebra book.

Sorry, girl. I've been a biker for far too long. What kind of firearm would you carry?

(I actually LOL'ed. Nice!) Ooh, Call of Duty, don't fail me now....I dunno, the crotch gun from 'From Dusk 'til Dawn' springs to mind, but if we're going for realism, I'd Dirty Harry it and go with a .44 magnum...but pink. ;)

Getting girls to laugh was my old calling card, but I digress...

I was thinking more of a .50 AE Desert Eagle for your babe of steel. They make a gold one.

I've actually been carrying smaller stuff. It's easier to ride with stuff like this CZ83. Thirteen shots and Gold-Dots make big holes. Besides, the CZ is what the Walther PPK should have been.

I'll also try to come up with a nice piece of folding steel. Women should have the best.

Sure, right to the toys! I kind of figured you'd be the brains holding us together. Ya' know, I'm not sure how much this little cabal is actually going to write by dawn. Sounds more like a writers excuse to party. Now all we need is Absinthe and a place to park the bikes.

@James Berkley--those are the strangest 1911s I've ever seen. Of course, now I have to have one!
