hiddennovelist: That cat has found a good place to rest. My cats like sleeping on top of the shed, or on the trailer tent outside.
He usually sleeps curled up either at the top of the stairs or the bottom, but I guess this time he wanted something different. I kept forgetting he was there and going to shut the cupboard, then catching myself. It was pretty cute, though. Yeah...he used to like to curl up and give me these "aren't I adorable? Pet me!" looks, then wait until I was in range and attack me. Sooooo sweet! It's funny watching him play with Joel, though...I'll give him that.

So let the mother take care of them and then let them go on with their lifes Show me where i said that was right? your putting me in the wrong group A kitting needs to be with its mother during that time it needs nothing but warter (milk form the mom is food) once the mom teaches them how to hunt they can be let go in the wild WHERE they can survive Once again your actling like the miuint a cat is by it self it dies . So you dont see these "safty measurements as exploiting life? thhat makes no sense Your acting like Cats cant survive on their own Cats do it daily
Misses usually sleeps on top of the older television. She hates these new flat screens. She looks at us like, I can't sleep on this what the hell.
Used to have a cat called Lily. She was really pretty, I mean a gorgeous cat, but she was so nervous all the time. She eventually started peeing everywhere and we had to give her away, and it sucked.
No. I never said that. What kind of owner would I be if I allowed my cat to have an unwanted pregnancy? On either end of the table or both. Sure they can survive on their own. But it isn't very fair of me to keep her sex organs, if I don't want baby kittens.
So why would the chance of life be thrown away if they can live on their own? huh? Thats what YOU want the cat wants to have baby's ..... They are not yours they are hers is it to much to keep them for around 5 months (iirc thats the time they can be away form their mother and hunt They require no food as their mother supllys it the water can be the one you give the mother they take up almost no space so there is no "cost" the only reason not to is because you dont want kittins which to me is just like giving up on a dog just cause its no long cute and cuddly Just becuse you dont want kittins its okay to stop them form living ever?
WhY? Its not like we are fighitng or anything, we are having a mature converstaiong on a discusion bored and a topic about cats, where are we doing anything wrong? this is after all what topics are about to disccus things about the topic I think its unfair for you to have us stop this conversation as we are not breaking any rules the topic is about cats and thats what we are discusion Should I be aloowed to tell you to stop a topic thats on topic? i don't think so as long as your not breaking any rules Its good manners to know others want to talk about something eles then what you do More so since the OP is the one in the discusion its his thread he can decide to talk about it if he wants, if he wishes to stop then so be it
Moving on... It's cute when your cat follows you. I'll give him a stroke, and then he'll just keep following me everywhere. Although, that can get annoying at times.
Whenever I'm getting some food, my cat will come over and cry. Sometimes she stands up on her two back legs and presses her front paws against my legs. Then I show her my food to get her to shut up and sometimes she licks it. Or eats some of it with me.
This is Gaz, the cat who tried to kill me back on page 2 of this thread. She has more facial expressions than I've ever seen in any cat.
Well, I wasn't going to post any pics of my baby. He passed away in October 2008 from a kidney stone blockage I haven't been able to bring myself to get another one yet.. but here's my Kuda (My son named him Barracuda, Nemo was big when we got him) he also answered to Kupa Chupa (I have weird names for my pets). Anyway here he is... And here he is again, sleeping with Drake I have another pic of him sleeping on the couch between both of my dogs, but I can't find it
You sound like me, Trish. I also have weird names for my pets. My cat Zephyr answers to Teety. My cat Cheddar answers to Beans and Burrito, don't ask me why. I call my dog Bruiser, Puffalump or Lumpy and my dog, Sheba, answers to cheebs. My Saint Bernard, Tabu, likes the name BooBerry and answers to that more than she does her real name. At one time or another I call all of my pets by odd names, but these are the ones that have stuck. I'm sorry for your loss of Kuda. I lost my cat, Cotton, about 7 years ago from the same thing and I was devastated for a long time. He was almost 19 years old and I'd had him since he was a 6 week old kitten. I also lost one of my Saint Bernards, Tobias, last year from kidney failure and I still miss him every single day. The hardest part of loving them so much is knowing that you face losing them someday because their lives are shorter than ours. They are worth it though.
So sorry for your loss, Trish. Coping with the loss of our beloved pets is devastating, but it's even harder to accept when they're taken from us too soon like that. He was absolutely beautiful. xxx Sorry for your loss of Cotton and Tobias too, Venusian. I know the hurt all too well, and my heart goes out to you. xxx
