    Word chain game!

Discussion in 'Word games' started by Blue_Lotus, Jul 28, 2011.

I love these games so I thought since I have yet to see this one, I would add it to our endless supply of games! :D

    Rules:
Use the last 2 letters of the word in the last post to start your new word. If you can't start a word with the last 2 letters, use the last 3 letters. If you are unable to use the last two letters or the last three then you may scramble the last two or just use the last one.

As a last resort if no word in any language you know uses the last three (3) or two(2) letters then you may start a new run using a new word.

Please leave a word that has possibilities!

    Example:

    Post, Oder

    Reply, Eraser

    Or...

    Post, Kitten

    Reply, Entity

First word Onomatopoeia (words that describe sounds , like POW, whoosh, pop, zing, etc.)

    * It would be nice if you would add the Definition as well for those who do not speak English, or if the word is from another language.

    iambic

(Question - must the two letters appear in the same order in the new word?)

Idealy yes, but if the last word is unuseable than you may use either the last 3 letters or just the last letter if that won't work.

Iambic - (Consisting of a short syllable followed by a long one, or of an unaccented syllable followed by an accented; as, an iambic foot.)

Ice - (Water or other fluid frozen or reduced to the solid state by cold; frozen water. It is a white or transparent colorless substance, crystalline, brittle, and viscoidal.)
