    Char Development Sub Forum Idea

Discussion in 'Support & Feedback' started by What Happens Next?, May 3, 2008.

We should have a sub forum under Charachter Development where we can 'get into character.' We'd have threads where we chat about a given topic as certain self made characters.

You could use those characters that are self made and test them out in the RPG forum. :) I noticed that Raven has written stories off character's that he created in an RPG, or maybe it was vice-versa, but I've seen it done before. :D Might be better to get into character too because then you are using aspects of other characters in the mix too that you can't control. It could help spread your character's past, or maybe even make you find a personality trait that you didn't notice the character had. :D

You could even post a thread in the Character Development Forum that is titled the same as your story, but put like (CD) at the end of it for Character Development, and then give a bio of your character, and then tell us his past, experiences, fears, etcetera, but IN CHARACTER which might give you a whole different experience because people from the outside that see the thread and respond would be able to give you feedback, while in the RPG forum, you would be playing with the character more than getting feedback.

We already have an RPG forum, and people have created more free-form activities like that under Word Games.

sounds like just another game to me, too... and no need to make it a whole section, when both rpg and games sections cover it well enough...
