Been super busy with work lately and had a bit of trouble getting back into my writing, I mocked up these few pictures to get me back into the writing mood. I find the visuals are really helping me, especially when I can get them to look as much like what I see in my own head as possible. Just thought I'd share...
It's actually just heavily edited screen shots of the sims 3. I use custom poses and a lot of custom content then edit it to hell in photoshop.
I made this doodle of two of my characters primarily as an example of my story boarding style for some of my friends trying to make a super hero series, and secondarily so I could use this picture without any context as a writing prompt at my college to see what kinds of absurd narratives people would create to explain what's going on. There were some... interesting responses to put it mildly.
One of my main characters in a full-body anti-exposure and ballistics protection suit. Post-WW3 law enforcement mech dog with a general-purpose utility configration.
Alright, so I really enjoy art, and I like to draw my characters so I can picture them better for their descriptions in my story. Also, my story gives me new inspiration to draw. For some reason, I can't post a picture.... But yes, my profile picture is one of my characters drawn by me.
I'm an animator so I always draw my characters. But alas, my avatar is not my character, its just a cool gator in sunglasses.
I do some work for my and my friends rp characters: Major Jon Waggoner: Major Waggoner and Lieutenant Liz MacLougherty Cole Fisher: Waggoner, Fisher and Sal:
Yay! I finally have a picture of my MC! This is one of my brother's (I have two artistic brothers) rendition of Valfredo. The abstract fire in the background is the antagonist, the phoenix.
This thread is basically the reason I wish I could draw. I have a tonne of pictures on my laptop of characters which I made on online character creators, but there's always that one feature you can't get quite right. This art is stunning!
My avatar is a picture of a Khrizan. But the thing is, I didn't draw it. This is someone else's dragon who happens to look very similar to my characters. I haven't been able to contact them. Anyone think they can draw something similar to this? Because it would help me visualize my characters A LOT.
I'm not sure everyone's avatar is their MC. My old avatar was "I am not throwing away my shot" written on a Hamilton-style star in Circular Gallifreyan.
I'm noticing how much sci-fi combat-based stuff there is on here and I'm starting to feel like the odd one out.
Sci-fi combat is pretty cool as heck. You're not alone though. I've got anime fantasy like some geek trying to fit in, lol.
Nope, mine's just me on Halloween a few years ago, chucked through a Deep Dream filter or two. That doesn't show up in the thumbnail, but I wish I could do that weird.
