Cogito--lol, sometimes it makes me laugh, 11 and a half(the batsman) men watching one ball and us watch them watch it.

lol and yeah I hate batting...it hurts!

Welsh--you're better off not knowing,, it involved a steel club and the house bell :p

Media/commentary will take its own course. I saw 12 weeks of documentaries while he was doing it that showed a man (him) with no control over the team, and when things went wrong (which at the time was a lot) he got pushed behind a camera. Im not saying he was good (with me backing him up), but he was not the only problem. During the period of time when idia stuggled, there was a huge battle for power to control the cricket team, and he happened to be the man beind the helm at the time. For him, wrong place, wrong time. For india, a absoule must

That said, his not a born coach....India needed to find their own way, which there getting their. I saw their for one reason...You guys a brilliant IN INDIA, but outside India, you really need to improve (winning one match is good, but you have to win every seasies around the world in one year). And i only say this (and im stating what you would know) because indias biggest weakness since its birth in cricket has been winning away from home. (Well in Australia NZ from what i can tell, im assuming its the same everywhere to a degree). Now that you have not just 2 good players, but 3/4 of a team of great players it should and i hope change. Its has to, too be number one.

    Sorry.....

I know winning isnt all, but its hard to remember with 15 years, more then half my life, thats all i have seen. (Well i saw the crapness before, which was fun watching the team become great)

Conversely, baseball has always intrigued me. But American football? Now that's something I can't get my head around - it's not a sport in my opinion. A sport is something played worldwide - not just in one country.

EDIT: I pay no attention to hype. I don't intend to go and see it so I'm not that bothered :)

Speedy I agree...mostly I am frustrated because he was behind the removing Dada from captaincy and putting Dravid there, who I must say is not a good captain and that led to the end of their careers in ODIs...

lol, as for the wnning away from home, now we're winning 3/5, there was a time we were winning 1/5. It's just that India's got perfect conditions for cricket, so playing outside needs adjusting but they're reaching there...and Dhoni's a great skipper!

Have faith we're getting there though :p

Edit-Wolverine, because it has a nude scene :p

They are just a lot of wimps in body armour playing fake rugby! WtH?

And why is it 'football' when they don't kick the ball?...Why do they need shoulder pads and helemts? They hardly touch one another! Pah

    rant over..again

Totally random question (well not so random seeing as we're on the topic of films) - but does anyone one know how I can de-regionalise a laptop DVD player? I wanna watch Outrageous Fortune but I can't 'cause it's Region 4 and I'm Region 2! :(

EDIT: Not understand football? :O shocking! What's not to get? Or is it the whole offside rule thing ... 'cause I'm not gonna get into explaining that :p

Welsh--don't ask me, I get a new laptop today(I am in 1 week yay!) and tommorow the DVD is broken lol...I have a way with machines, they go haywire around me.

And well, being the cazy person I am, I understand more of lacrosse than football but I watch soccer anyways. I loved Ballack and Ronaldo...and Sotiris Ninis *sigh* I hope he waits for me :p

Yeah, Harry went to Iraq 'secretly' - but then it got leaked by somebody somehow that he went out there so the Iraqis (I just use that term because I honestly have no idea who we're supposed to be fighting anymore) went out to specifically target him and his platoon. The Queen got the jitters so called him back, ever when he wanted to stay. And William just annoys me there was all this hype about how he's already passed through Sandhurt (Army officer traing), the RAF equivalent - but has he actually used them yet? No siree he hasn't. There was chat a while ago about him attending Dartmouth Naval Base (where my brother graduated from with sub-lieutenant rings! :D) - but thankfully that didn't come to pass. And my brother is off to be a submariner in the next 6 months, I worry about that sometimes :(
