Ooh, this is easy. It's so much easier to bad ones than good ones. The best suggestion I have off the top of my head is something I came up with years ago; flying squirrel. (Facepalms) Should be suitably embarrassing.
Quantum Man. A confused, wishy-washy little bald man who never keeps his appointments, is never where he says he is, and rarely is of any use. Captain Box-head-man By day, an absent minded, normal, average, Marine. But, from the hours of 6:00 to 8:00, or whenever the kid's baths are done, his shirt becomes a cape and he dons an empty box atop his face, becoming Captain Box, with the power of endless stories and anti-monster lasers!
It's uncanny how similar Captain Box-head-man is to my Cardboard Crusader character. Marine, check. Box, check. Lasers, check.
