    Formatting dates

Discussion in 'Word Mechanics' started by lameri, Apr 9, 2011.

I know that not writing ordinals is the preferred option (write "March 3" instead of "March 3rd"), but I wonder what happens when you change dates of the same month like:
He handed me the previous X-rays from November 15 and 30.

    Thanks.

'he handed me two previous x-rays from November, taken fifteen days apart'

do you have to be so specific with the dates?
