Try being a girl who has to bite her tongue if she thinks another girl is attractive but not in the "I'm attracted to her personally," just that you notice her attractive force. And I now know that it scares the crap out of guys when you tell them they have pretty eyes. I do it anyway because I love eyes, they're just awesome.

I told a guy he had pretty eyes (they were like this pretty green with a slight hazel ring around the iris) and he got all freaked that I was noticing them at all, appearently that's some kind of romantic gesture but I was just noticing them. Thing is, we've known each other six years and would never be attracted to each other in any way at all, we just have a certain rapport.

That cracks me up! I'm very drawn to beautiful eyes, not to mention eyes that are visibly aware and filled with intelligence. And I'm not afraid to tell the person.

I love getting and giving compliments from/to anyone. Of course, there is a difference between a compliment and a creepy come on. Those are not so appreciated.

to those who don't feel comfy getting them, keep in mind that it's a gift to the giver, to accept compliments graciously... to not do so is rude and ungracious, insults the person who only wants to be nice to you [unless they're fake ones meant to sucker you into something, that is!]...

that is why I learnt to thank who ever it was for the compliment. I don't want to come across as rude. Doesn't mean I have to like receiving a compliment.
