Hi, I am new. This forum looks great I self-published my first novel earlier this year and would love to get more contacts who are interested in writing & publishing. In particular, I'd like to know which competitions I could enter - so far I've sent it to a couple but it seems like a long-shot submitting it in such broad categories. Are there any little competitions out there for any of the following genres: creative non-fiction; crime; dark comedy; autobiography, or spies? Those are roughly my genres. I was going to apply for the Dagger Awards (crime) but they seemed like a no-go since they only accept nominations from established publishers. Here's my book, "The Writer with No Hands".
