I wrote somebody who was kind of both. He know what he was doing was wrong but didn't care in the slightest. It's as if he was choosing "hell" outright, cause it was more appealing. So my one bad guy kind of fits into both of those in some way. (I also joke that if the Criminal Minds team tried to profile him, he'd just send them his own profile cause he honestly doesn't fear getting caught. He'd commit his crimes in front of anybody, literally. Of course, given the choice, he'd prefer to not be interrupted. )
