    Too positive?

Discussion in 'Revision and Editing' started by skeloboy_97, Jan 6, 2011.

    Hi,

I'm not sure if i'm over- reacting, or whatever, but a thought struck me whilst i was editing my work. Is my style too positive? I'm not sure if it's even a legit thing, but i would just like to know somebody's opinion.

    Cheers, Nathan

Did you post some work? If not, how could we possibly know?

We're not going to go searching through your posts to try to find stuff you've written. At least provide internal links for us to click on.

As others have said, we can't know if we haven't seen your work.

Honestly, it's a YMMV thing. Even the 'everything is good and happy and the conflict turned out to be just a misunderstanding and everyone is friends again!' stories have a market.

Or, if you mean positive in theme, then meh. Doesn't matter. If you are a optimistic person and that comes through in your writing, then good. I could personally read some more positive theme stuff. Then again, I sometimes think I am a romantic era writer trapped in the current time period.
