    No, that's not what the editor is for. Remember that you're competing against thousands of other writers, so you can bet that your manuscript will get rejected if there are lots of errors. An editor would much rather deal with a writer who understands the rules of grammar.

    You may think in four languages, but judging by your posts, you haven't mastered this one. That would be excusable if you realized that and were working on it, but that doesn't appear to be the case.

    And, no, writing correctly is not the "editorial department's" job. Writing correctly is the writer's job. You will be competing against countless other writers who can write correctly, who won't require a lot of expensive "editorial department" hours, and who are therefore more profitable. While you admit that translators cost money, you seem to think that editors come for free. They don't. And if your translations contain as many errors as your posts here, then substantial editing will be required in each language.
