lol,, thanks for the suggestion but i thought you were meant to be the good angel in my mind,, not the little s**t telling me to slap hm and laugh.
ow, i am sorry to hear that. be the bigger person though, key his car no, me niether. he is scary 'cos he used to be a boxer and is huge and proper towers above you and shouts,, puts the s**ts up me.
Totally agree. It's just out and out bullying. It's no coincidence that kids tend to do so much better in classes where they like the teacher
No one ever got hurt by a voice(unless of course it was the one you didn't hear saying that you should watch out for that golf ball which was heading in the direction of your head) Here's a tip for you. Whenever anyone gives you a hard time like that just imagine them standing there dressed in a ballet dancers tutu. You couldn't take them seriously then could you?
i totally agree with this,, i always do miles better when the teacher treats me with respect instead of like something they have stood on. tell him thaa hahaha,, made me laugh that one. and thanks chick,, means a lot to know i'm not just the silly complaining kid like usual.
Lol... didn't know you knew but ok Lol, I didn't see the point in guessing because I knew that I didn't have a clue No comment lol, and awwww. Most people don't seem to like their bosses... True. I remember one of my friend's teachers once demanding she be transfered to a different class because she felt she was dyslexic... chick?? lol. New thing about me: I have a pet snake called Rebel. She's so cute
yea, chick. or darling, or hunii, or sunshine, depends what mood takes me and cool about the snake, my mam wouldn't let me have one
Even twenty-five years ago, if a teacher actually struck or shook a student, the teacher would be summarily dismissed; I actually saw it happen once. These days, the find himself in prison with felony assault charges, not to mention the civil lawsuit. That, of course, is on this side of the Pond. But by the time I reached high school, I was done with being bullied, whether by teachers or other students. I never started it, and never made it physical*, but I didn't take it either. (* If physically attacked by another student, I was prepared to respond in kind. I never had to test that by the time I was in high school. In junior high school - different town and school district - I only had to use it a handful of times).
New thing about me: I have a pet snake called Rebel. She's so cute [/QUOTE] New thing about me-I've eaten snake
yea i know what you mean Cog, it is good to stand up for yourself but not go around starting things. i guess, from a teachers point of view, if you have some little s**t who won;t listen the only way to make them listen is to remind them you are in charge.
Awwww they're adorable You should get one when you move out or something lol. That's just cruel. I hope snake eats you
In that case, don't get one. Its mean to mistreat them. Though, they can go quite a while without food/water if you forget...
which is why i said i probs wouldn't get one. the only reason the dog's still alive is cos my mam took charge
In the late 1960's, a student could be paddled - but not by a teacher. Only the Principal or Vice Principal was allowed to do that. These days, any form of corporal punishment is not only prohibited by the school boards, it's illegal. It has been that way for quite a few years here. Abusive language such as Heather described - calling a student "stupid", for example, is grounds for immediate termination as well as civil action, and could lead to criminal charges as well (especially when combined with physical imtimidation). Yes, enforcing discipline in the schools can be very difficult as a result. Detentions and suspensions are the tools mostly used now, guaranteeing that the parents are brought into it. In extreme cases, DSS and the courts can get involved.
