I loved Mulan. Lilo and Stitch was good, but I don't know if I could watch it again and again like some other Disney movies. It's one of those watch it once or twice movies for me.

"Pudge controls the weather." - best. random. ever.

But my favourite movie by Disney was the Hunchback of Notre Dame - pretty heavy for a kid's movie to be honest, but brilliant music. Friggin' LOVE Disney's music.

Outside Disney, the Road to El Dorado and Cat's Don't Dance are also winners =D

Obviously, Lion King and the Little Mermaid are right up there too.

WHY MUST THE SEQUELS BE SO HORRIBLE!? WHY!?

That movie is amazing. AMAZING, I say!

And I agree, it would have been awesome. But Disneyland isn't really Joel's scene, so I understand him not wanting to go there for his honeymoon...oh well.

This is a valid question. One I wish I had the answer to.

I have to admit, though, I did like the second Lion King.

Oh, and Hunchback of Notre Dame makes my heart ache, I love it so much.

This thread is making me want to go over to my parents' house and watch all their VHS Disney movies. I need to buy more of them on DVD, I've only got a few.

Too bad all the "Collector's editions" are so damn expensive >=(

None of my old tapes work T_T

I think most of the sequels are garbage because none of the old talent are involved: It's just the studios trying to cash in.

Little Mermaid 2 for example - either the old composer had rejected the proposal or was writing the music while concussed. Painful, just painful.

My tape of Snow white doesn't work either.... :(
Lol, I was just telling my sister which Disney songs I'd sing on her wedding (If she marries, that is)...

Mulan wasn't bad, Hercules was great - love the Gospel choir thing they had going for the songs.

Yes! Love that film. Hellfire is the best Disney song, no contest.

Also really liked Lilo and Stitch.

Other non Disney animated films I like.

Land Before Time 1 - before the franchise got killed by all the crappy toned down sequels (there must be more than Rocky now).
    The Iron Giant
    The road to El Dorado

How am I just now discovering this thread?! I am a total Disney junkie.

My favourites are Peter Pan (the message that you can always start over and can always be youthful is fantastic) and Beauty and the Beast (also for the message it promotes). But I love them all, and everyone's right; the music has always been fantastic! I think I loved Mulan's soundtrack the best, although it wasnt my favourite film. I have "I'll Make a Man Out of You" and "Reflection" on my iPod. :)
