    Books by the members

Discussion in 'Support & Feedback' started by Shadow Dragon, Oct 18, 2008.

How about have a stickied thread in the lounge or book discussion that shows all of the books that have been published by the members of WF.

We've had a number of such threads, but they don't really keep much interest. It's easy enough to find them, by searching for threds in Writing Issues with Published in the title.

We try to limit how many stickied threads we maintain because of how it pushes down active threads on the page.

Rather than a thread, I'd like to see some section of a user's profile where we have the option to add books that we published to be listed or displayed there. That's something I may look into in the future.

    Actually that's a rather good idea. ;)

Yeah, tat does sound rather good since part of the profile also states whether or not your published:D

Although, stating what you've published may reveal identity. So, maybe there should be a way to make that available to only a select group like the option we have with albums of choosing "Private, viewable only by friends and moderators."

Or, you could just leave a note in place of a book name, that says "Ask me"

But it requires no programming that probably won't happen.

Okay, I concede that part was wrong, but I still agree with Danieal and SD's op.
