If you could live out any fantasy?

Discussion in 'The Lounge' started by Daydream, Jul 31, 2011.

Which fantasy would it be? Your ultimate fantasy...something you've always wished for!

Mine has been and probably still is to live out Dragonball Z! It's been my favourite show since childhood. I used to daydream for hours pretending to be Goku or Trunks and go Super Saiyan. If theres a heaven that fantasy would be it ^^.

Also please no sex fantasies :p...

Going to Hogwarts. Absolutely. I'd die to go to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Since I was 5 or 6 I've always wanted to live in the Potter world, and I was disappointed when I didn't get my Hogwarts acceptance letter when I was 11.

    ^ That's so cute.

I would friggin' love to be a vampire in Trueblood.

OR I'd love to live in the Buffy world, and join a witching coven with Willow Rosenberg, LOL. If witchcraft was actually real, you can bet I'd be doing it.

Haha I have to agree I was pretty disappointed aswell when I didnt recieve my letter! Also I like yours Ashliegh...it's probably my second fantasy. Buffy was an awesome show! Although I think in the end I enjoyed Angel more because it was darker and funnier.

Travel to distant stars. Celestial, not Hollywood.

    This.

I have always loved the idea of being able to explore the Universe. Its always depressing when I realize I will never be able to. So I'd probably take this chance and go explore the Universe. See whats out there.

That and to test this: In Space no one can hear you scream. Is it true?

Yes I am aware that sound waves can't travel through space.

I don't think I'd like that. A fantasy is one thing, but disrupting the laws of physics is another entirely.

Okay, either I'd rather live in Hogwarts/the Wizarding World, in the Star Wars universe, or somewhere in Middle Earth, preferably the Shire. :p

Aw, I wanted to disrupt the laws of physics with my fantasy...

But that said, I'd love to live in the universe I'm writing. Then again, I'd probably change my mind after I got there. The place can be a wee bit scary. For my ultimate fantasy I'd just settle on quasi-omniscience - because knowing almost everything is much more fun than actually knowing everything.

No sexual fantasies allowed? Oh, all right. :)

I think I'd like to have an IQ about twenty or thirty points higher than mine is now, and study physics. I'd like to be the Einstein of my generation. I'd like to have a clearer, deeper understanding of how the universe works, and solve the problem of faster-than-light travel, thus making Cogito's fantasy possible. If I were to be remembered in history, that's what I'd like to be remembered for.

I would. I so would. Only if I got to be 007, though, and not one of those unfortunately-named Bond-girls.

    Hogwarts would be nice. :)

I wouldn't mind just having more attainable dreams come true. Going to graduate school; working R&D for in the pharma industry; getting out of the midwest for good; having a big, fat dog who loves me; having a good guy who loves me; buying and restoring a small house to its potential and living there; owning a boat and going out on the lake every weekend; having enough money to not worry too much but not so much that I live in excess; traveling the world; looking decent in a bikini; every day being happy with myself, confident in my abilities and my life, and waking up with a smile on my face...

If not Hogwarts (amazing), maybe the Avatar (the Last Airbender World). I love all the cultures represented over there, and the time period: seemed far removed from our modern worries. Plus, who wouldn't want to shoot fire out of their bare fists? :D

    But you said any fantasy...

I would be one of the X-Men.

Or, more realistically, an all-star derby player.

*Note: of all the fantasies posted in this thread, this one is the least likely to ever come true.

More realistically, I would love to be an incorporeal being capable of travelling anywhere across space and time.

Start messing with physics and then there could be no limit to how much you mess up.

Sunny sunny R'lyeth, with Deep Ones serving drinks. What's not to like?

This might sound kind of creepy and un-PC, but I've always wanted to be a Panzer general.

Fighting for an evil cause and that I'd likely end up dead aside, those German uniforms were damn good looking.

Standing above the hatch of my tiger tank, binoculars at the ready with my super cool hat and trench coat. My King Tiger hunting brits and yanks or russians as I lead my blitzkrieg to victory for the Wehrmacht.

    yeeaaaaaa........

If I could have any fantasy I would want a world where people are: Nice, polite, and well educated. Where there is no: Poverty, hatred, or illness. It is filled with: Love, laughter, and kinship. Where all thrive and assist one another, for the betterment of all. A place where Race, religion, color of skin, and other attributes do not matter at all. A place where a person could be green with purple polkadots and still be viewed as: Normal, equal, just another human being.

Crime is non existant in my world, Greed unheard of, where you can leave your door unlocked at night, and our children can go out to play with out having to worry about them being Kidnaped, molested, or murdered.

Anyone ever find the directions to this place do let me know... :(
