What does "dungeon crawl" mean? Do you mean stories similar to D&D games written as a novel?

A dungeon crawl doesn't really lend itself to a very good novel. I've come across a few that may have dungeon exploration or travel as a portion of them. Some of the Wizards of the Coasts novels may include them as larger portions of the book, but many of those aren't very good.

I'm not sure I'd consider LOTR as a "dungeon crawl" book. What elements are you attributing to being a "dungeon crawl"? LOTR is the staple for most of modern fantasy, if you're looking for something of that style, go to a book store wander the fantasy section for a bit.
