But I'm reaching out for some support. If you dislike me, then you'll love this opportunity to drive me into the poorhouse. As some of you may know, I write a blog. This week, I created a video inspired by The Uniform Project, which raises money for underprivileged children in India to attend school. I pledged to donate fifty cents to the UP for each person who comments on my blog this week. I figured this would fly under the radar, and generate a few comments from family and friends, in which case I would just quietly and anonymously donate $50 or so. Well, that didn't happen. I got noticed by Sheena Matheiken, the girl behind the Uniform Project, and she linked to me on her Facebook and Twitter. Awesome, right? Okay, this scared the **** out of me. I don't have a lot of extra money, and I was freaking out a little bit. But I got messages from some friends who said they would love to chip in, and even a couple of my coworkers heard about it and said they'd put in a few bucks. Also, the comment flood abated a bit, and so did my blood pressure. So this is, as they say, on. And I'm fishing for enough comments for a worthwhile donation. That's where you fine folks come in. Well its the name of an episode. I believe its the Episode where he has to find a way to fairly distribute the food and he believes he will be hated by everyone. but then maybe he just hates Hugo. Why I have no idea, because Hugo is a great character. But I think maybe Cogito might have said this because no one actually hates Hugo and the same goes for this guy. But then maybe I am looking to deep into it.
