It showed Rem behind Watari when he died. She can float through walls, so she waltzed right on up there.

Do you guys know any of the classic anime films like Ninja Scroll or Vampire Hunter D? I should be saying bigger stuff like Akira or Spirited Away, but I have yet to see those. haha

I loved Wolf's Rain. I watched the entire series over the course of a week on Youtube, then got all sad when I finished. It's a good series, but it's too short. :(

I need to get the DVDs.

I have yet to watch Pet Shop of Horrors... want to though. haha
Vampire Hunter D was cool, but it waaaaay dated. The sequel, Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust is an absolute master piece.

No! Don't watch it! Read the manga! The manga!

Ohhh, one of those series? I see, as you seem so adamant on it, I'll just read the manga. ;)

Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust is my favorite anime movie, having been based off of the third novel but the english dubbing is poorly done in my opinion.

Spirited Away is a great movie and probably Myazaki's best

Akira I have yet to see

Petshop of Horrors is a jewel in manga, totally worth the 10 volumes, while the anime, although good, is only 3 OVAs long.

I'm talking about the Ninja Scroll movie. It's a pretty decent action romp. I just finished watching the show, which in my opinion was fun but incredibly stupid. It's a 13 episode show with a terribly thought out story and lots of friggin' crazy ninjas. It's worth watching just to see how zany the ninjas are.
And I didn't know PoH was just an OVA series... hmmm

*I gotta go to bass lessons, so I'll be back in an hour or so*

The series is better than the movie, methinks. The movie feels....cramped and used a couple of deus ex machina to cramp it all in 2 hours or less

Manga: Anybody ever read the "From Far Far Away" series? I thought it was pretty good.

Anime: I liked Rurouni Kenshin and fell in love with the film Spirited Away, spellbinding.

Hmm, haven't heard of From Far Far Away. I'll check it out. I really want to see Spirited Away, and shall do so soon. Rurouni Kenshin is pretty good, but I just never got into it.

Rurouni Kenshin was an OVA, manga and regular anime right? I watched the anime on Cartoon Network but doesn't Rurouni Kenshin have any relation to Samurai X?

I'm not an expert on anime, but I think that Samurai X was actually the journey of Rurouni before it continues to show him in the new show (Rurouni Kenshin), and some argue it was better.

And thanks for considering the manga ValianceInEnd. :D

No, Samurai X is the english title of Rurouni Kenshin
