I love The Alchemist and Twelve covers. More... Simple, but it tells the tail And this book, according to my friend (I never read it), is as funny as its cover. Plus, the cover glows in the dark through phosphorescence.
This is my favorite not only because I love the art work but it was the first book that turned me on to reading...it's interesting, by looking at the cover, one would never know the way it all ends.
^ I just looked up The Beautiful Miscellaneous on Amazon. Looks really good; I just put it on hold at my library. The combination of a great cover and great reviews is a slam dunk.
I don't know why, but I love the cover of American Gods (the big one, not the mass market). Here it is! And this one, too:
This is one of my favorite covers. Helps set the idea of the character depicted in the art. How he is in his own world. Also love the cover art for Crusader. Though not really sure why.
It does look like a cool book, what's it about? antoher favorite cover of mine is the cover of It's Kind of a Funny Story by Ned Vizzini
The contrasts on this cover are gorgeous. I love how the lips look so fleshy and gourged in blood, and yet sexy too. The tongue is so realistic I could touch it, hah. Plus i'm really enjoying the girly read of this book - take that, Twilight. TrueBlood is looooovleh.
Just off the top of my head I think this is an excellent cover. Never read these books though and never intend to, but the cover is great.
I also loved the newest Legend of Drizzt series of book covers. These ones are so much more vibrant and dynamic than the older ones. I also love some of the Dragonlance covers like Chosen of the Gods, Time of the Twins and Legend of Huma. Just such brilliant designs. If I find them I'll post 'em up.
Agreed, especially the Dark Elf Trilogy. I think out of the three books my favorite cover is for the second one, mostly because I didn't even see his father in the background and it was a fun surprise. What about you?
Exile's cover is my favorite. (Mostly because of Zaknafein too. ) Plus I really love the glowing green colors of everything. Homeland is a close second. edit: resize
