Puppet Masters

Ok. I’ve never created a game before so I thought I’d give it a try.

This is how it will work:

There can be only one protagonist and one antagonist in the game. I begin by creating a character, and give this character a goal. Others can control the character but only the antagonist can kill him or her. Also, the member who first created the current antagonist cannot kill the current protagonist.

In each post, a member can only advance one of the two characters, and gets two sentences to do so. (reasonable sentences)

Here is the first character. Protagonist: William K. He wants to meet the girl who just moved in next door.

William sees the pretty girl jump off the moving-truck ramp and enter the front door of her house. He smoothes his hair down and walks forward.

(Now an antagonist can enter the story)

 

Dana saw the goings on and didn't like her William looking at that girl. She stepped around the tree just alittle further to watch his next move.

 

Dana recalled killing her first husband, the smell of blood, the wheeze after the knife punctured his lung. She didn’t know why she brought the knife with her now, for William couldn’t be stupid enough to –

 

He was that stupid! He was asking the girl out!

 

"William, I'm glad you chose to visit me," the girl next door said. "I've been searching for Dana for a very long time."

 

"Huh?" William said. "You know Dana?"

 

“Let’s just say she knew my big brother,” said the girl next door. “Please come in.”

 

"He's going into her house," Dana growled. "That cheating bas**rd!"

 

Dana spent the next two hours in the bathroom looking at the knife she could never wipe free of blood. She cocked her head when she heard the door open and close, signaling the return of him.

 

William walked into his house, closing and locking the door behind him. He paused and turned back, the door had been unlocked, he'd locked it when he'd left.

 

Dana stood at the top of the stairs, and thought William looked surprised to see her standing there in her torn dress, and with mascara running from her eyes. “I’ve been waiting for you,” she said, holding the knife behind her back.

 

"Are you ok? You look terrible!" William exclaimed. "I will be soon enough," Dana replied.

 

William struggled to keep the knife out of his chest. The strength left him, and the last thing he saw was Dana walking out of the door.

New protagonist: Dana.

 

Inspector Maxwell nervously looked down at the body. "The wife been contacted?" he asked another officer.
