I suppose I should post now.

Discussion in 'New Member Introductions' started by The Triarii, Apr 21, 2016.

Hello everyone. My name is Chris. American. Male. Early 20's.

No professional experience with writing but it has been a hobby that I enjoy. I hope to come out here and simply write and learn with everyone on the site. I generally enjoy writing fantasy but am looking forward to trying out new things here on the forums.

No, no. The Overloads here are human enough. :bigwink: Those digitally dodgy denizens of whom you speak are but cheeky upstarts. :bigmeh:

    Welcome Triarii! :coffee:

It's coffee time in my slice of life; though, even now the Caribbean sky promises another scorcher followed by torrential rain this afternoon. A pale blue, not a deep blue. Heat and rain are assured.

I clearly need to step back and reevaluate. My previously perceived power structure appears to be widely inaccurate once first contact was made.

Observation without contextualization of a previously unknown culture can most certainly give rise to all the drawbacks of etic-only data collection. ;)
