    It is hard to choose between so many, I guess I'll just have to go with my gut. I can't vote here because I know who wrote which one. :p

    You do no one a favor, including yourself, voting by author. I urge people to please vote for the stories they think are the best. I vote in the short story contest. I don't go by who wrote the stories.

    But if you are talking about voting for your own in this contest, I think authors should vote for their own as long as they are honest about it. If your position differs then vote between the remaining 5.

    I'd rather avoid all controversy and not vote. There is no reason that I should get to know the authors and be trusted to make an honest vote, but the rest of the board votes anonymously. That's just my opinion. It might be a cop out to not having to decide who I think is the best, but if no one else knows the authors I just don't feel it would be fair for me to.
