Gender and Sexuality in Science-Fiction

    If I ever finish my sci-fi novel it has a central character that is bisexual so that should confuse the issue

    Haha! :D This has been the theme of the day for me as well. Zombie threads everywhere...

    But while we're at it... This came up in another thread just now. I'm really, really surprised no one mentioned Samuel R. Delany in this thread. Gender roles, gender identity, gender in language, gender as language were all obsessions of his. Stars in my Pocket like Grains of Sand focuses tightly on the subject.
