    Historical fiction markets

Discussion in 'Traditional Publishing' started by erik martin, Jul 10, 2010.

Does anyone know of any good markets for short historical fiction? I recently finished a 5000 word story set in the late 18th century, a frontier adventure type thing. Some searching has revealed Solander from the Historical Novel Society, Gettysburg Review and Seattle Review. Does anyone know any others that might be appropriate? The story is less literary and more entertaining.
