    -goer (suffix)

    Should words such as paradegoer, gymgoer, festivalgoer, moviegoer, theatergoer, concertgoer, churchgoer, etc., be written solid (as one word) as shown? Dictionaries aren't helpful with these formations.

    I've usually seen it with a hyphen ("parade-goer"). Merriam-Webster does have an entry for "moviegoer" (no spaces), so it looks like in some cases it's one word. I'd still use a hyphen, though.

    yes, some have been welded into one word by long term usage, while most still need that hyphen... you can always check a dictionary or do a google 'vs' search, if in doubt...
