    Good Distance Learning Writing Programs

Discussion in 'General Writing' started by Jack Perritry, Jan 9, 2009.

    Hello all,

I'm looking into possibly pursuing some graduate-level writing/editing studies, preferably via distance learning. I'd like to pursue a certificate rather than a degree. Does anyone know of any decent, reputable colleges in the U.S. that offer something like that?

    Thanks.

You have to use a search engine as there is such a range of distant learning things, and really you would have to specify what you want a lot more.

I don't know of any American ones, but Humber College in Ontario has some good stuff.

there are countless such things available on the web... all you have to do is google for them to see they abound there... the problem lies in finding one that 1. isn't a scam and 2. is worth the fees they charge... to do that involves yet more googling... which is why the patron saint of writers had his/her boss let those two lads invent google! ;-)
