    what to do ??

    In my story i dont know if i want t say it has happened in the past or if its happening now, and i dont know if i should do it as im explain or from a different point of veiw??

    As a writer, these are things that you are just going to have to decide for yourself. If you're unsure of the way you want to tell your story, I would suggest trying it a couple of different ways and then deciding on what feels best.

    Yah. I agree with what was said. IT does not do you any good to sit and think about it. Give it a try one way and see how you like it. Then try it another way. Trail and error. It will work out.

    and you should also check out how successful authors deal with such things, to give you ideas on how to do it with your book...

    Interesting that the responses to the question phrased this way are much more thoughtful than if the question had been "should I write in past or present tense?"...

    It would be more helpful if you added some information on what your story was about. But anyways, your story can have a very different feel to it if it is written in the past rather than currently. I find that if you write it as if you were explaining something, it can sound rather comedic. For me, it is easier to write simply with the main character as a narrarator, but it is your decision.
