    Banner for Flank Hawk

Discussion in 'The Lounge' started by TWErvin2, Sep 10, 2009.

    Hey Folks,

Figured I'd share the banner created for my forthcoming novel:

The artist created it from parts/images in the cover art she is creating. The cover just about finished. My publisher has to finish the title work.

I guess I think it just looks pretty sharp and wanted to share it.

    Terry

Note: My first attempt to insert an image. Hope it works.
Would it be inappropriate to include it as part of my signature file?

Looking very good. Can't wait to see the cover. Do you know anything about the release date?

    That banner looks great, Terry.
Signature images technically require special permission. In practice, that permission isn't being given out any more, in the interest of keeping signatures reasonable. Some people were making ridiculously gaudy signatures, even witout signature images,

Thirdwind, the date my publisher mentioned was October 27, 2009. It will be solidified in a few weeks. I have seen the cover art and it is very cool. The publisher has yet to complete the title work.

Hiddennovelist and Soujiroseta, thanks for the congrats! I am pretty excited, or as excited as I get about things. My wife laughs, but really being steadyish, not one to get excited or riled, is very beneficial to my job as a teacher. I suspect that when I hold the printed copy in my hand, I'll have a pretty big grin, however. ;)

Cogito, I understand about the restrictions. Too bad, however. Hearing you the others in this thread indicate the banner is good, makes a difference. I could always just be a bit biased.
