Happy Thanksgiving to all who celebrate it.

What do you have to feel thankful about?

 

I have a family that I love and cares about me.

I have a careeer that I enjoy and find meaning in.

I have decent health.

Much of the above I have worked hard to achieve, but also I remember the Lord has granted it to me.

Is everything perfect? No--I could make a long list. But in comparison, I have much more to be thankful for.

I'm thankful for my family and friends, that I'm in reasonably good health, I have a bed in a house to sleep in, and that I live in a great, free country.

 

I am thankful for my ability to think logically.

 

I am thankful for a great family, a good job, decent health, and a questing mind. It doesn;t matter that I am not directing that thanks at any supernatural presence; it is still worthwhile to take stock of oneself and appreciate what one has.

 

I finally got away from a job I hate, that would get me nowhere and would give me a bad reference anyway.
