Hi there! I stumbled on this forum and decided to join because it looks like it could really help me with my story idea. I posted it in the roleplay forum. It's a story about an Irish-Catholic family, with one clan the local power brokers who are fending off an upstart. And in the other, the hippie mom's son has just come to terms with his homosexuality and threatens everything. And he has a choice to make: Grow in comfort in his sexuality or suppress himself so his family can maintain power, along with what he benefits from. I would love to chat more about this.

Interesting idea. I saw your other questions about this, but have no experience with which to respond. My family are not religious... not atheist or agnostic either, just don't give a crap.
