Hi, I'm Beth (that's not my real name). I'm not sure what to say - I feel like a bit of an interloper. I was at a wedding on my own at the weekend and that felt less awkward Anyway, I can't call myself a real writer as I only started writing 3 weeks ago. I planned on writing factual stuff on a blog - don't worry I won't pester anyone to read it. It hasn't worked out like that because I've mainly been writing poetry. I'm here to read others' work, comment on that, flex my writing skills and improve. I've had lots of likes and comments on my blog but I'm bright enough to realise most just want a like from me on their own blogs. What's the point of a disingenuous like? Pah! I feel that when I eventually put my own work on here, you folks will critique it and help me improve. I've rattled on a bit. I'm like the boring person you don't want sat next to at the wedding. Oh, come to think of it...
