    Allow myself to introduce...myself.

Discussion in 'New Member Introductions' started by JesGuy, Apr 4, 2007.

    Hi all.

I'm new here. Like to write fiction. Written one book that stinks and needs to be rewritten...bad.

Working on a second book now. Its going good. Sort of plotted out, sort of flying by the seat.

Just discovered this forum. I like it! I think I'll stay and look around. And add input when I have some.

    Thanks. Jes

    Hi there.
Put your feet up, relax, and enjoy your stay.
By the way, what genre are your two books?
    Cheers

I dont really know. A part of me wants to say fantasy, but not in the realm of dragons, wizards, or magic.

Has anyone read The Bear went Over the Mountain by William Kotzwinkle? Or Watership Down?

Not that I'm saying I'm of their callibre, but both my books have animal-characters with human characteristics. The plots are mixed with a sense of realism, so I dont really know how to classify them. I could say Young Adult, but even that doesnt clarify it properly.
