    Hello!

Discussion in 'New Member Introductions' started by sleepywolf, Nov 23, 2013.

    Hi there!
I am a Chinese majoring in English. I have been working on literary translation for years but I found that without some writing skills, my translation is not literary at all. So I decided to take a shot here. My writing may appear childish or even ridiculous, so I sincerely hope you guys (if it is not too much trouble) could give me some professional advice. Your opinion is highly valued to me!
    Nice meeting you all!

    Welcome, sleepywolf!
Of course it isn't any trouble, just get on asking and relish in the Community's will to help!

And if you mean your English skills when you say "my writing may appear childish", I'd say it looks almost perfect!

PS. So you translate books from English to Chinese, am I right?

Thanks for your kind and encouraging words Komposten!
And yes, I translate books from English to Chinese. That's why I am so interested in English literature and writing.
