Not to be too critical, because I haven't come up with one yet, but I do think Hemingway's was more of a story than a lot of the ones I'm reading here. And I haven't read all 25 pages either so my apologies to all of you for saying that. The thing is, Hemingway's 6 words were a story. It wasn't just a 6 word summary. It's something you would see in the classifieds or on a bulletin board. That made it more complete than simply writing a summary. I'm going to have to really think about this one, it is no simple challenge. I think in order to be complete you need to start with where you'd expect to see the words. I have a book of funny signs and one says, "Closed on account of death, not Sam's." It seems like half a story to me, but the idea is to write something that calls up everything that goes with where you'd see it as well as what you imagine from the words.
