    Hey All

Discussion in 'New Member Introductions' started by Saya, Feb 28, 2007.

Hey all, I am Saya as you have probably noticed by the wonderful gray-blue user name at the top of my post. I'm sure you all have never noticed it before... >_<

Anyway, I'm fifteen, just turned the age two months ago so I'm a little new at this. If I'm doing anything wrong please tell me. Fifteen is a wierd age.... <,<
Oh, yes, and since this is a writing forum I suppose I should say a little about my writing...skills....the ones that are almost non-exsistent. I first became interested in writing at the tender age of nine. I don't remember how the heck it happened, but it did. I've been wanting to publish something ever since then. Sorry to say it hasn't worked...yet. I haven't even finished a story good enough to be considered for submission. Bleh. I'll get over it. My problem is that I don't have enough patience and interest to stick with one story long enough to get passed the...uh...fourth chapter....It depresses me. But anyway, my writing was absolutely horrendous until sixth grade when I discovered the wonderful world of the internet and...Pokemon fanfiction. That's right, for about a year and a half I tuned my writing skills on fanfiction, and Pokemon fanfiction none the less. That depresses me too... >_< But, last year I decided to forsake my dark path and try and write something original, more or less. It's coming along, well, sort of. I just need to get something finished for once in my life. =/

But, yeah, hi to all you out there. I hope to be seeing a lot of you all and reading your stuff too, if my short attention span will allow it, that is. :p

Heh, thanks. My post was long, I know, so, I know most people won't bother to read it. >_<
<,< >,> I've been on forums long enough to know that...s'what I'd do too. :p

    Anyway, thanks for the welcome.

    Hello.
I had the same problem with writing. Start a long story and get bored. Thats why I wrote quite a few short stories. And still do actually.

    Cheers

Heh, I'm a girl. Half the time people think I'm a guy, the other half they think I'm a girl... >,> <,< It's hard to tell on internet. I ocne thought this person named Taz was a guy for a year and a half. XD Hey! The named looked like a guys! :p

Oh and thanks for the welcome. I've tried to write short stories too. Sometimes it works and other times it doesn't. Most of the time I can't think of a good plot that actually has a moral or something. >_<

Who cares if a story has a moral. Just make it interesting. When writers try to push morals in their stories it usually comes out way to preachy.

Hmm....I see your point. Right now I'm having a problem with thinking of a good plot that is actually short and stickign to it though. I'll figure something out though....
