I really suck at writing intro posts, I just never know what to say, so I'm going to jump right in. Hi! My name is Cary *points to username* I am 23, and i've been writing since about 5th grade (those stories are hidden somewhere in a shoebox far from where eyes will ever see them) lol I've been working on putting together a series of novels for a few years now (i've even had offers to publish) but I haven't been happy with any of my attempts yet, so I just keep writing and re-writing them. Gah.. the curse of a writer.. perfectionism! Anyways, I took a long hiatus from writing when my daughter was born (she's three now.. how many of you have tried writing with a 3 year old around? yah.. its nearly impossible) but now I want to get back into it, and I decided to join because I need somewhere I can go for honest informed opinions on what i'm doing. I hope this is going to be that place For the most part i write sci-fi/fantasy, romance, and a bit of horror (who says you can only love one genre?).

Hello, Cary. I wouldn't say you suck at introductory posts. You expressed yourself quite well. I hope you find what you need here. And I agree, perfectionism can be a curse. I've thrown away far too many ideas because I couldn't get them to come out right after a few tries. I really need to cultivate patience!
