    Greetings, friends, enemies, and others

Discussion in 'New Member Introductions' started by AmyWriter, Aug 20, 2015.

Hello. I am Amy. I am an apprentice author trying to finish my first book. I often write about males (despite being a female) although I am a feminist. My strongest point is character development. I look forward to learning and teaching and all-around just chatting with other authors.

    Welcome to the Forum :superhello:
My real name is Amy, so thats something in common.
Wouldn't call myself a feminist, because I don't feel comfortable only fighting for things that make the world better for me. So I think of myself as an equalist, I want fairness for all.
Character development is a good strength to have. Mine is actually coming up with the story, I just need to work out how to tell it well.

Hope you find some kindred spirits here

Thanks! I'm an equalist, too, but people recognize feminist more so I say that. Amy isn't my real name but I use it as my pen name.

Ah then I will say good choice of pen names haha.
Yeah it has become a very recognisable label, I think more recently some are giving it a bad name but then any movement attracts a few bad eggs.
